Who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while you may have to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
1 Peter 1: 5-6
As I mentioned last week, Mr. Mead and I took a short (kidless) road trip to see my beautiful niece get married. We have not done an overnight since our 22 month old has been born. Needless to say, it was
nice, wonderful! Not to say we didn’t miss the kiddos, but it was nice being just a couple and not mom and dad for a 30 hour period of time.
It was a deep romantic trip that involved Mt. Dew, beef jerky, and trying to memorize the lyrics to Ice, Ice, Baby – like I said deep.
On the way back we made a few minor pit stops, one being getting Mr. Mead’s picture with the Meadville sign, because how can you not, really?
I was going to post a Popsicle recipe, however I believe I am going to go back to the drawing board, prior to posting them on SAS.
So for today, Adios!
